What it really means

What lecturers say after explaining something, to check understanding. It is genuinely fine to answer "not quite" — that is what they are asking for. You can use it yourself after explaining something in a presentation.

老师讲解后确认大家是否听懂的常用语。回答 "not quite"(还不太懂)完全没问题——他们问的就是这个。你自己做展示讲完一段后也可以用。
