Rare, medium or well done?
Neutral Polite
What it really means
The question you get when ordering steak: rare (red inside), medium-rare, medium, medium-well, or well done (fully cooked). "Medium" is the safest answer if you are unsure. Burgers are normally served fully cooked.
Chinese explanation
点牛排时会被问熟度:rare(一分/带血)、medium-rare(三分)、medium(五分)、medium-well(七分)、well done(全熟)。拿不准就点"medium"最稳妥。汉堡一般默认全熟。
